Dynamo Foosball Tables
The Dynamo brand is owned by the umbrella company Valley-Dynamo Limited Partnership (VDLP) after the Valley and Dynamo brands merged. They are based out of Texas and are known for extremely high-end game tables. The company now makes Valley pool tables, Tornado and Dynamo foosball tables, Champion and Sun Glo shuffleboard and Dynamo air hockey. They began manufacturing in the early 1970's by firm president John Lewis, a former foosball player. At the time, John noticed there was an opportunity to improve the sport by creating a higher quality table that could withstand during heavy play. Early foosball tables also lacked the capability for a range of complex shots that he wanted to explore. So I guess you could say that being limited as a player was the main driver for his endeavor in creating the Dynamo brand.
